RECREATIONAL FIRE

Must be in a pit
3' x 2'
25' from any building
10' from property lines
No water or shovel required
No fees or permits required



SPECIAL PURPOSE FIRE
(BONFIRE)

Must be hand-stacked
8' x 5'
100' from occupied structures
50' from all other structures
10' from property lines
10' fire break
Must be indigenous, inspected & permitted
Garden hose or two five-gallon buckets
Minimum 18 y/o in attendance
Can only burn on specific date and before 11:00 p.m.
Cannot replace residential/clearing fire permit
$15.00 fee



LARGE LAND CLEARING FIRE

Cleanly stacked by equipment, not pushed
10' - 50' diameter and 1/2 diameter tall
150' from occupied structure
50' from all other structures
Fire break must be 1' for every 1' diameter
Must be indigenous, inspected & permitted
Garden hose or two five-gallon buckets
Minimum 18 y/o in attendance able to operate equipment
No more than one pile/acre or three/parcel
Fan capable of 6,000 CFM to start pile
$50.00 fee
RESIDENTAL FIRE

Must be hand stacked
4' diameter or less
25' from any building
10' from property lines
10' fire break
Garden hose or two five-gallon buckets
Minimum 18 y/o in attendance
No fees or permits required



SMALL LAND CLEARING FIRE

Hand/equipment stacked and not pushed
4' - 10' diameter and 1/2 diameter tall
100' from occupied structure
50' from all other structures
15' from property lines
10' fire break
Must be indigenous, inspected & permitted
Garden hose or two five-gallon buckets
Minimum 18 y/o in attendance
No more than one pile/acre or three/parcel
$30.00 fee
