A Cessna 170 went down off the north end of Herron Island on February 29, 2004, killing the two men on board.  Underwater Admiralty Services floated the plane to the surface on April 4th and towed it to Grapeview Marina, near Stretch Island.  Doug Kammerer and Cheryl Uglesich accompanied the victim's families to the marina and took the following pictures.
